[welcome to the holy see of ishgard.

the sky is overcast, as it always is, and there's a light flurry of snow covering everything. people walk about in heavy furs, breath fogging in the air. the streets are grey cobblestone, and tall and imposing stone buildings loom amidst wooden structures--some still in the midst of repair, although for the most part the structural damage from the end of the dragonsong war has been mitigated. the spires of a massive cathedral can be seen in the distance, towards the center of the city.

statues, too, are found in every square; the most prominent amongst them of a commanding-looking woman bearing a spear and a shield. people murmur quick prayers to her as they pass her by. "thank the fury," they say, as they mill about. there are some soldiers around wearing thick chainmail, though no one looks especially on edge. in fact, despite the chill in the air and the greyness of the sky, people look... normal. it's fair to say that the majority of them are elezen, tall individuals with pointed ears, though there are a few who look more "human". and once in a while, you might even see a young dragon flitting about.

the aetheryte plaza, where there stands a large glowing blue crystal, is most likely near where you ended up. with a bit of asking around, you can learn of a few choice locations--the forgotten knight, a prominent tavern known for their hot mulled cider; the brume, a collection of dwellings where the lower class tend to congregate; the skysteel manufactory, a workshop which develops constructs and other magitek; the chocobo stables; and the congregation of our knights most heavenly, aka the headquarters of the temple knights. you can go further into the city too, though it's probably pretty obvious where you'd find info about aymeric around here...]

[he shivers faintly from the kiss, chuckling. selena's seen his back before, of course, toned and built well, with some minimal scarring from long ago. his muscles are tense, too, though it seems more like his natural state of being than him feeling uncomfortable]

[It is a very sexy back look at all those muscles, she's very much enjoying the excuse to roam her hands over him as much as she pleases. The tenseness though, while understandable, does compel her to massage his muscles while she lathers him up]

[he lets out a deep sigh as she does that, tilting his head back]

[Smiles, what a cute reaction, she is only further encouraged to keep working her hands over his shoulders]

Oh, I'm glad. I'd like a turn to pamper you now, Aymeric.

[he hums, pleased, as his shoulders begin to relax]

I could hardly refuse you. Pray do with me as you wish.

[Laughs, kneading his shoulders a moment longer, then sliding them down his sides]

Well if you say it like that I'll start getting all sorts of ideas.

[he lifts his arms to give her more room, resting them on either side of the tub]

[Hums, wrapping her arms around him and pressing against his back. She's a lot smaller than him so she can't wrap him up and surround him with her warmth like he does to her, but being close like this feels nice anyway.]

[still, the tenderness of it is so soothing to him. aymeric doesn't get to indulge in physical intimacy very often, and he leans back into her embrace, letting out a deep sigh]

[cute, he’s so cute, she adores him so much. Selena presses another soft kiss against his cheek, nuzzling against him]

[Laughs, cheeks flushed slightly pink, sliding one hand up his chest, just delighting in this closeness with him.]

[now he's getting flustered]

[Laughs! Delighted and enamoured with his reaction, pressing another kiss to his neck]

[he truly is adorable it's very tempting to just keep going, but, he's already looking overwhelmed so perhaps this is enough for the moment. she'll remember how weak he is to such praise for later.]

We ought to have just enough time to dry off and get dressed before dinner, at this rate.

[Sighs softly, a quick chaste kiss back before Selena nods, hesitantly unwrapping her arms from him]

I suppose I must relent and let you up now then.

Forgive me.

[smiling as he rises from the tub, and pads over to a shelf with towels, coming back with one to offer her]

[Takes it and wraps it around herself as she gets up]

Oh, I'm sure we can make it up later.
