[welcome to the holy see of ishgard.

the sky is overcast, as it always is, and there's a light flurry of snow covering everything. people walk about in heavy furs, breath fogging in the air. the streets are grey cobblestone, and tall and imposing stone buildings loom amidst wooden structures--some still in the midst of repair, although for the most part the structural damage from the end of the dragonsong war has been mitigated. the spires of a massive cathedral can be seen in the distance, towards the center of the city.

statues, too, are found in every square; the most prominent amongst them of a commanding-looking woman bearing a spear and a shield. people murmur quick prayers to her as they pass her by. "thank the fury," they say, as they mill about. there are some soldiers around wearing thick chainmail, though no one looks especially on edge. in fact, despite the chill in the air and the greyness of the sky, people look... normal. it's fair to say that the majority of them are elezen, tall individuals with pointed ears, though there are a few who look more "human". and once in a while, you might even see a young dragon flitting about.

the aetheryte plaza, where there stands a large glowing blue crystal, is most likely near where you ended up. with a bit of asking around, you can learn of a few choice locations--the forgotten knight, a prominent tavern known for their hot mulled cider; the brume, a collection of dwellings where the lower class tend to congregate; the skysteel manufactory, a workshop which develops constructs and other magitek; the chocobo stables; and the congregation of our knights most heavenly, aka the headquarters of the temple knights. you can go further into the city too, though it's probably pretty obvious where you'd find info about aymeric around here...]

[he leans into it, soft and gentle and in no hurry to rush things]

[Selena isn't either, kissing him soft and slow and full of affection, wanting to savour it.]

[eventually he breaks the kiss to breathe, eyes closed for a moment longer as he lingers, and then he takes a bar of soap and starts lathering it up so he can wash her back]

[oh that's nice, as much as she'd been enjoying laying back against his chest Selena does shift forward to allow him room to do so]

I have to say, I'm feeling very pampered right now.

Good, as I intend to pamper you.

[once his hands are all sudsy he moves them to her front, lingering on her breasts but not trying to be too lascivious, either]

[Soft sigh, closing her eyes and leaning into his touch]

You're doing a wonderful job.

[he continues down her front, careful and methodical, and then he works on each of her arms, down to the tips of her fingers]

Lean back, and I'll do your hair as well.

[She does so, pressing back against him and resting a hand on his thigh once he's done with her hands]

Please do.

Close your eyes. I'll try not to get any soap in them.

[his fingers thread through her hair, massaging her scalp as he does so, taking his time until he has to rinse it through]

[Closes her eyes and tilts her head back, letting him work. she almost feels like she could fall asleep with the tender massage touches, very relaxed]

Mm, much better. Thank you.

[he presses a kiss to her cheek, shifting so she can just relax while laying on his chest. he does jostle her a little to clean himself up tho]

You look like you might fall asleep.

I can't help it, you're just too soothing.

[smiles, kissing him right back]

Would you like me to wash your back?

[peacetalks]

I'd like that very much.

[moonlit_knight]

[Hums, sitting up and shifting back, taking the soap to lather up]

Turn around for me?

[peacetalks]

[he does so, drawing his legs in to make it easier while he works on scrubbing down his front at the same time]

[Selena presses a quick kiss to the nape of his neck before getting to work, hands slow and gentle over Aymeric's back]

[he shivers faintly from the kiss, chuckling. selena's seen his back before, of course, toned and built well, with some minimal scarring from long ago. his muscles are tense, too, though it seems more like his natural state of being than him feeling uncomfortable]

[moonlit_knight]

[It is a very sexy back look at all those muscles, she's very much enjoying the excuse to roam her hands over him as much as she pleases. The tenseness though, while understandable, does compel her to massage his muscles while she lathers him up]

[he lets out a deep sigh as she does that, tilting his head back]

Ahh... that feels lovely.

[Smiles, what a cute reaction, she is only further encouraged to keep working her hands over his shoulders]

Oh, I'm glad. I'd like a turn to pamper you now, Aymeric.

[he hums, pleased, as his shoulders begin to relax]

I could hardly refuse you. Pray do with me as you wish.

[Laughs, kneading his shoulders a moment longer, then sliding them down his sides]

Well if you say it like that I'll start getting all sorts of ideas.

[he lifts his arms to give her more room, resting them on either side of the tub]

I invite you to let your imagination run wild, if naught else.

[Hums, wrapping her arms around him and pressing against his back. She's a lot smaller than him so she can't wrap him up and surround him with her warmth like he does to her, but being close like this feels nice anyway.]

[still, the tenderness of it is so soothing to him. aymeric doesn't get to indulge in physical intimacy very often, and he leans back into her embrace, letting out a deep sigh]
