[welcome to the holy see of ishgard.

the sky is overcast, as it always is, and there's a light flurry of snow covering everything. people walk about in heavy furs, breath fogging in the air. the streets are grey cobblestone, and tall and imposing stone buildings loom amidst wooden structures--some still in the midst of repair, although for the most part the structural damage from the end of the dragonsong war has been mitigated. the spires of a massive cathedral can be seen in the distance, towards the center of the city.

statues, too, are found in every square; the most prominent amongst them of a commanding-looking woman bearing a spear and a shield. people murmur quick prayers to her as they pass her by. "thank the fury," they say, as they mill about. there are some soldiers around wearing thick chainmail, though no one looks especially on edge. in fact, despite the chill in the air and the greyness of the sky, people look... normal. it's fair to say that the majority of them are elezen, tall individuals with pointed ears, though there are a few who look more "human". and once in a while, you might even see a young dragon flitting about.

the aetheryte plaza, where there stands a large glowing blue crystal, is most likely near where you ended up. with a bit of asking around, you can learn of a few choice locations--the forgotten knight, a prominent tavern known for their hot mulled cider; the brume, a collection of dwellings where the lower class tend to congregate; the skysteel manufactory, a workshop which develops constructs and other magitek; the chocobo stables; and the congregation of our knights most heavenly, aka the headquarters of the temple knights. you can go further into the city too, though it's probably pretty obvious where you'd find info about aymeric around here...]

[the relief of them being alone, unwatched and unjudged, stirs a fire in aymeric's chest he hadn't realized was being kindled. he echoes her, moaning as he winds both arms around her and pulls her close]

[yes good excellent. She's more than happy to press close, though her breath hitches a little too sharp when her chest is pulled flush against him, but that's something she's just breezing past and trying to cover with another moan.]

[peacetalks]

[he can't help but notice that, and though he isn't willing to let go just yet, he does murmur into her lips]

Are you alright?

[moonlit_knight]

Mm, I'm fine.

[never mind it never mind, it's just a few bruises she doesn't care, wrapping her arm around his neck and holding him close for more! kissing!]

[peacetalks]

[he'll let it pass for now, eager to kiss her again, lips parting to entwine his tongue with hers and taste her as he drags her into his lap]

[climbing into his lap easily, straddling his hips and luxuriating in the feel of him wrapped around her, his tongue sliding against hers, so warm and inviting and soothing the ache of longing she'd felt being apart from him.]

[he sighs into her mouth as his arms wind around her tightly, a low groan in his throat at the thought of kissing her here, in his home, in his space]

[aymeric is so cute and also so hot when he groans like that, she wants to kiss him breathless, stroking her hand down his side and resting on his hip. for a moment, she's very tempted to go further, to slip her hands under his clothes and feel his skin warm against hers, to touch him all over and make him moan for her more - but even in the privacy of aymeric's home she's wary of Sebastian overhearing them so maybe she shouldn't push it too far while they're downstairs.

which is all good and fine and reasonable in her head but her fingers still twitch with the temptation, gripping his side.]

[he shivers palpably, placing his hand over hers at his side like he wants to guide it further, but he knows they could be walked in on at any moment--and the idea is thrilling. he breaks the kiss to catch his breath, nuzzling at her jawline]

Selena...

[moonlit_knight]

[goddd behaving is the WORST she's just barely maintaining control here, if he did guide her hand down even a little bit she knows she wouldn't be able to resist. Tilting her head and sighing, breathing a little heavier now]

Aymeric... god, you're far too tempting.

[peacetalks]

[chuckles]

I could well say the same of you. But if I take you to bed now, I'll not let you go for hours...

[moonlit_knight]

[EXTREMELY RED, ducking her head and biting her lip, be strong Selena]

This is unfair, if you say something so enticing that only makes you harder to resist.

[peacetalks]

[aymeric's eyes flicker to the window, where the sun is setting, casting a faint orange glow over everything. he licks his lips thoughtfully]

... we've still a few bells before dinner. I should show you to the guest room.

[moonlit_knight]

[any sense of self control is utterly defeated]

Well... If we've the time, please lead the way.

[peacetalks]

Aye, I shall.

[he lifts her up off of him with his hands on her thighs, letting her stand before he rises and--ahem--adjusts himself]

'Tis just upstairs. Follow me.

[despite how red and flushed he is, he still goes to gather her things to carry them for her upstairs to the guest room, because it's only polite]

[having to get off of him is TERRIBLE but for a greater good so she rises, covering her mouth to hide a smile as he adjusts. oh boy. following after him]

Ah, I could've taken those - thank you.

[peacetalks]

'Tis of no mind. You are a guest, after all.

[he walks upstairs and sets her things down just outside the guest room, in the hall]

The room is probably dusty--I shall ask Sebastian to dust before leaving tonight. In the meantime...

[he takes her hand and turns to the room across the hall]

I realize 'tis an intimate thing to see someone's room, but I welcome you freely, my friend.

[moonlit_knight]

[oh, she'd been expecting the guest room, aymeric taking her to his actual bed feels like a sudden step beyond what she was prepared for and her heart pounds. Selena squeezes his hand and steps towards the door]

You honour me.

[peacetalks]

[he opens the door to his room, quietly shutting it behind them. aymeric's bedroom is clean and tidy, and at first glance is not filled to the brim with personal details--but there are a few things that stand out. the pillow on his bed that has a perfectly cat-shaped indentation on it; the suit of armor on a stand next to the fireplace; the large two-handed sword he'd worn in heart rate above the fireplace; a small desk next to the window, with what look like unfinished letters scattered about; an old, cracked wooden bow leaning against a corner; and perhaps most curious, scuff marks on the window sill as though it's been used as an entrance/exit more than a few times.

he abruptly feels a little embarrassed at his insistence, and goes to sit on the bed]

[from the way it looked like he slept in his office most of the time, she's not overly surprised the room has few personal touches, but any curiosities she might notice are swept out of her mind when he sits.

Selena doesn't hesitate to follow him, eager to pick up where they left off and moving to straddle his lap again, hands immediately moving under his shirt.]

Lie back.

[peacetalks]

[his breath catches when she climbs into his lap, his hands moving to her hips, and he lays back. no armor today, just a thick tunic to protect from the cold]

[moonlit_knight]

[That tunic is coming off, rucking it up as she roams up his chest, and slowly rolling her hips over his, looking down at him full of warmth and longing and affection.]

I've been wanting to do this for so long.

[peacetalks]

[he lifts his arms to help it off, tossing it aside, and letting out a breath at the feel of their hips aligned so close]

I... am yours to do as you wish, ser.

[with how close she's pressed, she can feel him half-hard through his trousers, wanting]

[she won't leave him wanting for long, reaching to undo Aymeric's trousers next. Selena leans down to kiss at his neck, murmuring near his ear.]

Mm, I'm all yours too. And there is so much I wish to do.

[peacetalks]

[he shivers and drags his hands along the hem of her shirt as well, sneaking his fingers underneath to feel her bare skin]

Fury, I have missed you so.
